Donald Holden spent a lifetime travelling the north of England, inspired by the landscapes he encountered. This popular Lancashire artist left behind a large body of work and a mountain of sketchbooks, each a piece of art in their own right. From these he would work in his home studio to create the final piece., working on both paper and canvas. We have catalogued the work he left behind, making it available for sale through this website and at the Longitude Gallery in Clitheroe.
